			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Weight Loss &amp; Tone &#8211; Diet</strong></p>
<p>“Nutrition is the main ingredient here; the key is to eat frequently to keep your metabolism high and your body burning calories all day long. Avoid starchy carbohydrates after 3pm. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. This is where you can get away with carbs as you will burn them off during the day i.e. porridge, Weetabix, wholegrain bread.</p>
<p>Try to eat every 2.5 to 3 hours. A small snack between meals such as yogurt, fruit, nuts or a protein shake will help with keeping your metabolism high. Get your carbs in at Lunch; try and eat wholegrain as much as possible, brown rice, wholegrain pasta, sweat potato etc. After work is when most of the damage is done. Avoiding carbs here is important as we tend not to be as active when we go home. Fish/Chicken/turkey with green Veg is ideal.</p>
<p>As the old saying goes; breakfast like a king, lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper!</p>
<p><strong>Weight Loss &amp; Tone – Exercise</strong></p>
<p>Resistance training combined with a balanced diet is ideal for toning &amp; weight loss. When we talk about weight loss we should really focus on bring down our percentage body fat, if we drop fat and stay the same weight this means we have more muscle. Muscle helps us look toned and muscle burns more calories than fat does i.e. the more muscle we have the more fat we burn when we are at rest. Sometimes women are afraid of resistance training as they are afraid of bulking up (gaining too much muscle, this is not the case as women produce a lot less testosterone than men. It would take years of heavy lifting and an intensive diet to get this effect. Basically don’t be afraid of the weights J</p>
<p>We should exercise every day for at least 30 minutes. Take the stairs instead of the lift, cycle to work, walk to work, go to the gym 3 to 4 times a week. Set goals for yourself! Keep your body guessing! “</p>

The body constantly needs to be challegened in order for it to adapt and change. If you train the same, your body stays the same, variety is the key, keep the body guessing. And remember , no matter how much u train if the food is wrong you won&#8217;t get the results you want so stay focused&#8230;..</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Ok, the hard part is over, you&#8217;ve made it through january and you&#8217;re still here, working out.<br />
Time now to push it a bit harder, take the intensity up. If it&#8217;s losing body fat (those unwanted Xmas pounds <img src='http://www.rawcondition.ie/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';-)' class='wp-smiley' /> ) and toning up then we need to raise our core temperature-which means sweating, and because girls don&#8217;t &#8220;Sweat&#8221; then girls , it&#8217;s time to glow:-).<br />
So get in, go hard, and go home, simples&#8230;&#8230;.</p>
